We’re a few weeks away until the fantasy playoffs start and it’s time to perform. Whether it’s making the right start, finding the correct NFL fantasy sleepers to take over due to players on bye or injuries… it will be crucial down the stretch to save your fantasy season.
Let’s get into some NFL fantasy sleepers for Week 13…
QB: Kenny Pickett (PIT) vs Arizona Cardinals
Alright, I know what you’re thinking… Kenny Pickett?! Yep. Don’t get me wrong, Pickett has been absolutely horrendous this year in fantasy and not a viable option for majority of the season. Last week vs the Bengals, we saw Pickett playing after Matt Canada’s fire.
Not saying he lit the world on fire, but he looked more like an actual quarterback. He posted the most yards he passed for all year and it looked like the Steelers allowed him to take more deep shots. Against a questionable Cardinals defense, I think Pickett can perform better than he did last week and play better.
Projected points: 18.9
RB: Samaje Perine (DEN) vs Houston Texans
Finding a solid running back option this week has been extremely tough. With all the players on bye this week and injuries piling up, I’m going with more of a dark horse candidate in Samaje Perine. He’s been averaging 13.7 points a game the past 2 weeks and just scored his first touchdown of the year.
It’ll be nice to see if the Broncos continue to give Perine more touches with his improved play the past few weeks. This is more of a gamble, but a gamble if you’re really in need of it.
Projected points: 12.5
WR: Greg Dortch (ARI) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Opportunities and targets are the reason I like Dortch this week. Last week vs the Rams, he saw 9 targets and caught a touchdown. In a game where I expect the Cardinals to be playing from behind, Dortch could see similar looks against the Steelers.
Projected points: 15.7
TE: Cade Otton (TB) vs Carolina Panthers
One of my favorite sleepers all year, I expect Otton to have some solid production vs the Panthers’ lackluster defense. He’s seen a decent amount of targets consistently the past 6 weeks and I don’t expect it to stall vs the Panthers.
Projected points: 11.5
