Jets have released Le’Veon Bell

After trying to find a trade for Le’Veon Bell this busy Tuesday, the Jets have decided to release their running back. Le’Veon Bell had signed a 4-year $52.5 million dollar contract with the New York Jets in the 2019 offseason, but after a year later they had buyer’s remorse and decided to release the former Pro Bowl running back.

This was Bell’s response:

Bell had been injured for most of 2020 and was set to return from IR soon. Hopefully he can quickly find a new home to have a productive season after all.
