NFL Free Agency is coming up in a few weeks and it’s time we start discussing some of the top free agents that will be hitting the market. There will be a ton of star power from the wide receiver position in Davante Adams, Chris Godwin, and also Mike Williams from the Chargers hitting FA. Let’s get into some of the top FAs in totality…
1. Davante Adams, WR
Arguably the best receiver in the game when healthy, Adams deserves the #1 spot in free agency. If the Packers are able to keep Aaron Rodgers on board, don’t be surprised if Adams also resigns.
2. Terron Armstead, OT
One of the elite left tackles of the game and will be highly coveted, expect Armstead to get $22M+ from the left tackle position. He might just end up being the highest-paid left tackle in the game when free agency is all over.
3. JC Jackson, CB
Jackson has said he wants to be the highest-paid CB and wants Jalen Ramsey-type money so expect a team looking to add secondary talent to throw that kind of bag at him. He’s an elite corner that is also capable of creating turnovers.
4. Von Miller, LB/DE
Even at age 32, Miller is still capable of creating havoc (shown in the Rams SB run). He will be coveted by a contending team looking to add some extra juice to their pass rush to make a run for another championship.
5. Chris Godwin, WR
Godwin is a great receiver in this league and is capable of making plays from the inside and outside. A team that is looking to add some weapons will be willing to pay big money for him.
6. Chandler Jones, OLB
Chandler Jones is another older pass rusher that is still capable of creating damage for oppositional offenses. Teams that are contending and need some defensive help will be willing to throw some money at Jones for sure.
7. Allen Robinson, WR
I think the Bears should do whatever they can to keep Robinson in Chicago for Fields’ development, but if not expect another team to go after the star receiver. When Robinson is healthy, he’s one of the best receivers in the game.
8. Brandon Scherff, OG
Offensive linemen are always super important and Scherff is a great one. The biggest flaw of Scherff has been him staying healthy, but when he is, he’s one of the best guards in the league.
9. Tyrann Mathieu, SS
Not sure if the Chiefs will be able to retain Mathieu at his potential asking price, so I expect for him to move on. There are talks about him potentially joining the Ravens, so keep an eye on that.
10. Rob Gronkowski, TE
Gronkowski has still been very effective, even at age 32. He had an impressive 802 yards this year while only playing in 12 out of the 17 potential games. He would’ve easily had another 1,000 yard campaign as a tight end. He said he wants to play with Joe Burrow, let’s see if that happens…
