The season has started, and after the first month we can already make the first predictions based on the performances so far.

MVP: STEPHEN CURRY

Steph Curry looks like he is never getting old. He’s 33 now, but he’s playing just like when he was 26, or even better. The former 7th overall pick is currently leading his team to the first seed in the West, losing only one game so far. Steph Is putting up 27 points with 6 assists and 6 rebounds a game. Let’s not forget the boost that his season could receive, with the long awaited return of his splash brother, Klay Thompson. If Klay comes back and plays like the infallible shooter we remember, Steph’s number of assists could really go up, helping his MVP run.

Runners up: Kevin Durant, Paul George

ROY: EVAN MOBLEY

The 3rd overall pick is surprising everybody. Before the season started the spotlight was on Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green, but so far they are underperforming, while the big man from USC is not. Mobley is one of the leaders in contested shot this season and probably the best rookie defender the league has seen since Tim Duncan. If he keeps on doing what he’s doing, we already who will end up with the Rookie of the Year.

Runners up: Scottie Barnes, Jalen Green

DPOY: ANTHONY DAVIS

Davis has been in the conversation for the DPOY award for all of his career, but never made it. This year with LeBron out indefinitely, AD is picking up the slack on the defensive end, giving him the opportunity to finally take home the coveted prize. So far the first pick in the 2012 draft has been putting up 11 rebounds a game alongside a steal and 2.6 blocks.

Runners up: Rudy Gobert, Bam Adebayo

MIP: MILES BRIDGES

Nearly everybody was expecting Miles Bridges to step up for the Hornets this season, but not this much. Miles went from 12 points a game last season to 22 this year, and he has become a top player for the North Carolina team. The biggest reason he is over Morant is the huge jump he made. Ja was already putting up good numbers, he was already the star of the team, while Bridges went from a lob-threat to an all-around player and potential star.

Runners up: Ja Morant, Tyler Herro

6MOY: TYLER HERRO

Herro is leading the NBA in points off the bench this season, with about 20 a game. The shooting guard from Kentucky is surely one of the main reasons for the Heat’s success so far this season, and after comparing himself to Luka Doncic and Trae Young, he has backed up his words with great performances.

Runners up: Jordan Clarckson, Carmelo Anthony

COTY: STEVE KERR

There’s only one simple reason why the Golden State Warriors coach is the favorite to win the award, his team is the best in the league. The Warriors currently have only lost only one game so far and credit obviously has to go to the coach. Steve Kerr has been doing a tremendous job so far in guiding his team to success.
