The NFL season is almost upon us and it’s time we start with these arbitrary projections. Obviously there are some thoughts behind these projections, but the NFL season is almost impossible to predict with potential injuries and potential developments, but that’s what makes the NFL… the NFL.
Let’s get into some win-loss projections for all 32 NFL teams in the 2024-25 season…
AFC East
- New York Jets: 12-5
- Miami Dolphins: 11-6
- Buffalo Bills: 9-8
- New England Patriots: 3-14
AFC North
- Cincinnati Bengals: 11-6
- Baltimore Ravens: 11-6
- Cleveland Browns: 10-7
- Pittsburgh Steelers: 8-9
AFC South
- Houston Texans: 13-4
- Indianapolis Colts: 9-8
- Jacksonville Jaguars: 7-10
- Tennessee Titans: 6-11
AFC West
- Kansas City Chiefs: 13-4
- Los Angeles Chargers: 8-9
- Denver Broncos: 7-10
- Las Vegas Raiders: 5-12
Expecting an improved season from the Houston Texans after they get another season under star QB C.J. Stroud and new additional weapons like Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon to the offense. Don’t be surprised if they end up the #1 seed in the AFC.
AFC North continues to be the toughest division in the league with all 4 teams competing for a playoff spot in the final weeks of the season.
NFC East
- Philadelphia Eagles: 12-5
- Dallas Cowboys: 10-7
- Washington Commanders: 6-11
- New York Giants: 5-12
NFC North
- Detroit Lions: 14-3
- Green Bay Packers: 12-5
- Chicago Bears: 10-7
- Minnesota Vikings: 4-13
NFC South
- Atlanta Falcons: 11-6
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 8-9
- New Orleans Saints: 7-10
- Carolina Panthers: 5-12
NFC West
- San Francisco 49ers: 12-5
- Los Angeles Rams: 9-8
- Arizona Cardinals: 8-9
- Seattle Seahawks: 6-11
The expectation is for the Detroit Lions to have a dominant season this upcoming year after making even more additions this offseason to their stacked team. They’ve got all the tools and pieces to put up a Super Bowl caliber season with their extremely deep team.
It’ll be interesting to see how all the pieces in the Atlanta Falcons offense comes into play with an actual franchise QB that is capable of making plays for others and be productive in Kirk Cousins. Having pieces like Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts will only make Cousins’ job easier. They could end up being one of the best teams in the league if they figure it out.
