We’re full into the NFL fantasy season and it’s time we find some league-winners on the waiver. We’ve already seen some gems, like Jordan Mason, who’s been on a tear to start the season. Whether it’s players that are seeing more opportunity due to injuries, their play, or rookies getting more attention, let’s get into some of our favorite waiver wire pickups.
WR: Tre Tucker, Las Vegas Raiders
Tre Tucker has seen 15 targets in the past 2 weeks and I don’t expect that to lower any time soon. He seems to be the new favorite target of Gardner Minshew, over players like Davante Adams and even Brock Bowers.
We’ll see how his usage continues over the next coming weeks, but definitely a waiver-wire option if he’s not been picked up already in your league.
RB: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs
Injuries, injuries, and injuries. The Kansas City Chiefs offense has faced it’s share of injuries to start the season with Isaiah Pacheco, Rashee Rice, and Hollywood Brown all injured. Enter in Kareem Hunt who looks to be getting majority of the snaps out the backfield ever since being signed by the Chiefs this past week. Hunt had a solid outing vs the Chargers, having over 80 yards from scrimmage.
TE: Erick All Jr., Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals drafted Erick All Jr. in the 4th round of this year’s draft and it’s been paying dividends already. All Jr. had a 2nd round grade, but dropped in the draft due to his ACL injury he suffered last year. All Jr. has been getting more and more snaps every game and has 12 receptions in the last 3 games to go with it.
Although he hasn’t scored any touchdowns or gained the most yards, he’s getting the looks and has capitalized when doing so. He outsnapped Mike Gesicki vs the Panthers and we could see his workload increasing even more.
