Kevin Garnett has claimed that Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently the 4th best player in the Eastern Conference. Which players could even give him a run for his money as the best player other than Joel Embiid? Jalen Brunson? Tyrese Haliburton? Jayson Tatum? Jaylen Brown? Jimmy Butler? None of these players are better than Giannis.

Are we forgetting that Giannis carried the Bucks to a championship and won back-to-back MVP awards? It seems that some have forgotten how good Giannis was when the Bucks were playing well. A full offseason with Damian Lillard and a healthy Khris Middleton should allow for the Bucks to come back into contention again and remind the East they are one of the best teams in the league with a top 5 player in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo averaged 30.1 PPG while shooting over 60% from the field and we’re still seeing outrageous takes like this. It’s between him and Embiid as the best players in the East and it’s not even close.
