A week comes, a week goes. Time to take a look at the NFL slate for this week’s picks!
Thursday, October 10th
San Francisco 49ers (2-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (3-2)
The Niners are in a rough patch. The Seahawks look a lot better than most penned them to be. If the 49ers don’t win this game, it might be panic mode in the Bay Area. A CMC-less SF team has struggled each week nor has looked complete. This should be a return to form for them however as I have them beating Seattle 24-7.
Predicted Final Score: 24 49ers – 7 Seahawks
Sunday, October 13th
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) @ Chicago Bears (3-2)
Doug Pederson’s seat is practically on fire in Duval County. The Bears are looking better than they ever have. Can the Jags get back on track? It is all on the shoulders of their offensive line. The drafting weapons over offensive line is starting to show holes and it is the biggest weakness on their team. I believe the Jags and Pederson can overcome the London curse. Lets hope I’m right.
Predicted Final Score: 27 Jaguars – 14 Bears
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) @ New Orleans Saints (2-3)
The Saints are starting to flounder. The Bucs are coming into form. Its time for Spencer Rattler to come in and save their season. Is it doable? Maybe. Only time will tell. I have the Saints getting back on track this week, but the Buccaneers could give them trouble.
Predicted Final Score: 21 Saints – 14 Buccaneers
Washington Commanders (4-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (3-2)
75 %
Jayden Daniels is the guy for Washington. Is he good enough to beat a stout Baltimore defense and basically unstoppable quarterback in Lamar Jackson? I don’t think so, this is a heat check for the Commanders, a hot one indeed.
Predicted Final Score: Ravens 35 – Commanders 3
Arizona Cardinals (2-3) @ Green Bay Packers (3-2)
The Cardinals are coming off a surprise upset of the 49ers and the Packers are coming off of a commanding win over the Rams. The Cardinals I expect to continue this winning pace where we will see even more of the K1 to MHJ connection.
Predicted Final Score: 24 Cardinals – 21 Packers
Indianapolis Colts (2-3) @ Tennessee Titans (1-3)
The Colts are hoping to get Anthony Richardson back this week against the Titans and return to their winning form. The Titans just plain suck. Lets hope that the AR5 breakout game actually comes this week…otherwise the Titans will be victorious.
Predicted Final Score: 21 Colts – 7 Titans
Houston Texans (4-1) @ New England Patriots (1-4)
CJ Stroud struggled last week against the Bills. The Patriots are by far one of the worst teams in football, Houston should return to form in a nice statement victory. Drake Maye is making his first start this week but that won’t change much. Good luck Maye.
Predicted Final Score: 42 Texans – 10 Patriots
Cleveland Browns (1-4) @ Philadelphia Eagles (2-2)
The Browns need a win, bad. Deshaun Watson sucks and they need to win to at least keep the team afloat. To make matters worse, the Eagles need a win even moreso. Nick Sirianni has a scorching hot seat and will do whatever it takes to save them. Sorry Cleveland, you suck again and no one feels bad for you.
Predicted Final Score: 28 Eagles – 14 Browns
Los Angeles Chargers (2-2) @ Denver Broncos (3-2)
The Broncos had a nice win over the Raiders and the Chargers are coming off a bye rested and ready to go. As much as I think Bo Nix is the guy for Denver and that they will be decent come next season. It is just that, they will be good NEXT season. The Chargers should beat the Broncos handily, maybe I will be disproven.
Predicted Final Score: 21 Chargers – 14 Broncos
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-3)
The inevitable has happened. Gardner Minshew has been benched for Aiden O’Connell. Is it enough to bring them a win against the Steelers? Hell no. Is it worth a shot? Maybe. Steelers will win.
Predicted Final Score: 27 Steelers – Raiders 17
Atlanta Falcons (3-2) @ Carolina Panthers (1-4)
The Panthers are finally getting their stuff together with Andy Dalton under center. The Falcons are finally getting a rhythm with their quarterback Kirk Cousins. Carolina is still just as awful as they have been all season and stunting their growth of their 2nd year quarterback is an awful look. The Falcons should win this but never underestimate 28-3 flashbacks.
Predicted Final Score: 28 Falcons – 3 Panthers
Detroit Lions (3-1) @ Dallas Cowboys (3-2)
The Cowboys are nowhere close to where the Lions are. Detroit is gunning for a Super Bowl. Wouldn’t it be great to have a massive blowout victory over a team like Dallas?
Predicted Final Score: 38 Lions – 21 Cowboys
Cincinnati Bengals (1-4) @ New York Giants (2-3)
The Giants look good when Daniel Jones plays mistake free football. The Bengals need a win asap. This game will be a lot closer than people expect. I have the Bengals but would not be surprised to see the Giants win.
Predicted Final Score: 21 Bengals – 14 Giants
Monday, October 14th
Buffalo Bills (3-2) @ New York Jets (2-3)
The Jets made a peculiar decision to fire their head coach Robert Saleh only a few weeks into the season. A poor decision that I expect them to regret. The Bills are going to embarrass New York on live television. Dare I say, the owners deserve it?
Predicted Final Score: 24 Bills – 14 Jets
